Mysterious Soul: On "E&F Vs. P&CE"
I definitely agree bro! I guess it’s all about finding the perfect balance right? I’d like to hear what specs you’re working with also! Thank you for the comment about my blog! Really appreciate it. What topic do you think I should touch next?
xphnx: I’ve thought about this question too. I’m…
Thank you very much!
I’ve got a desktop and two laptops (a brand new one, one that is going out, and a third which is now dearly departed). I’ll give the stats to my custom built desktop here:
i7-2600K “Sandy Bridge” (http://ark.intel.com/products/52214/Intel-Core-i7-2600K-Processor-(8M-Cache-up-to-3_80-GHz))
MSI Radeon 5670 (http://www.buy.com/prod/msi-r5670-md1gd3-radeon-hd-5670-graphic-card-775-mhz-core-1-gb-ddr3/223319028.html?listingId=228024517 not the exact thing as I couldn’t find it online, but extremely similar)
I seem to have misplaced the box for my Mobo, but it’s an MSI with a Z68 chipset, I can tell you that much.
10GB Ram (A strange number, I know)
Corsair H80 Liquid CPU Cooler (Really! Overkill!)
Cooler Master HAF 912 Case (http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6673)
Finally, Ubuntu Linux as the OS (No windows to be found here!) (http://ubuntu.com/)
What are your stats?
Buddy! That’s serious overkill! All that to run Ubuntu? Damn…as much as I love linux, I’d be killing that Windows with endless gaming bruh! Hahaha
My specs: Biostar MCP6pM2+ / 4GB ddr2 RAM / AMD Athlon x4 640 ‘quad core processor’ / An MSI built Radeon 6570, 19” AOC LCD Display.
That’s about it…my humble bundle of joy :D
Oh..I dual boot, Windows 7 solely for gaming ‘though not much at all lately’, and Ubuntu for everything else!
